“The Legend of MARIANA” ---- A healer of the sea

The legend of Mariana is still told in the islands scattered across the western Pacific

- whispered from one generation to the next, each telling adding something… and leaving something behind.

The way it is most often told begins near the edge of the Mariana Trench, where the

sea falls away into a darkness deeper than any light can reach.

There, they say, lives a mermaid named Marianna. Very few agree how long she has existed. Some say a lifetime... Others say two.... The oldest stories suggest something far older—that she is not the first, but one in a long line of guardians, each inheriting the same quiet gift.
